These products have proven their reliability for several years in numerous marine and industrial applications in the United States and Europe. They include a range of hydrostatic and radar transmitters that detect any type of substances found in hard to probe areas, either because of the shape of the containers, or because of temperature variations. Ohmart Vega transmitters are directly linked to a digital receiving system by a 4-20 mA signal. They can be connected to an already installed computer system or can be provided by your manufacturer. VEGAPULS radar sensors measure level with reliability. These sensors are unaffected by fluctuating temperatures, inert gas layerings, and gauge pressure in storage tanks. They also perform well in conditions found in oil or chemical tankers. Two sensor technologies are available. First is the dry, metal-capacitive measuring cell which is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and chemical products such as fuels, light crude oil, and heavy oil. Second is the dry, ceramic-capacitive measuring cell which has proven its extreme overload resistance and rugged construction in industries.
