We have one of the most qualified circuit breaker divisions in North America. We offer installation and reconditioning of AC/DC disconnecting switches and of air, vacuum, oil or SF6 circuit breakers. We are also equipped to perform testing and calibration of protection relays, measuring devices, and high-power transformers. Our services also include installation, optimization and synchronization tests.

During the reconditioning of your equipment, we visually inspect the circuit breaker and cell, followed by a contact resistance test in our workshop. We fully disassemble the apparatus, cleaning, degreasing, adjusting and tightening the parts. Stationary and moveable contacts are cleaned, and the silvering of the main contacts is redone. Once reassembled, the machine undergoes a series of tests: mechanical testing of the thermal and magnetic release mechanisms, followed by greasing and lubrication. Contact resistance is tested once more to compare with the first results gathered, followed by dielectric, electrical and primary injection tests. Finally, certification is granted attesting to the reconditioning and calibration of the equipment. A representative of your company may be present during the testing.

For main switchboard modifications, we offer free consultation on replacement or modernization of your electrical protection equipment. This operation comprises execution of technical drawings, followed by complete assembly of the new apparatus and all its accessories, connection by cables or copper bars, and finally installation of the equipment with respect to electrical standards.s

All modifications and reconditioning are accompanied by a warranty on parts and labour.
